Lacy L. Taylor is a steadfast civil litigator who made international headlines in 2016 by successfully taking on a media conglomerate in an epic David v. Goliath civil case that brought justice for her client and impacted popular online vacation rental policy around the world.

Success born from hard work is not foreign to Lacy. Prior to graduating as valedictorian from the Santa Barbara College of Law, she owned and operated the very successful Anacapa Dive Center in Santa Barbara for over 15 years. She continues to provide competent, decisive, and practical legal representation to a growing list of clientele in an array of legal matters. Lacy takes pride in her ability to provide her clients with positive results in an efficient manner.

In 2019, Lacy received one of the largest jury verdicts in Santa Barbara County when she litigated a financial elder abuse case against several defendants. Although extremely experienced in landlord-tenant disputes, Lacy’s expertise is varied and she has proven herself as a formidable trial attorney and skilled negotiator.

Lacy has returned to her alma mater as an adjunct law professor, teaching various subjects including legal writing, litigation techniques, and contract drafting. In addition to her professional success, Lacy enjoys a robust personal life alongside her husband and five beautiful children. In her spare time Lacy serves on the board of several non-profit organizations, was a foster parent (until she adopted the children), and is President of the University Club of Santa
Barbara.
